Product Change Notification - PCN 00400050

We would like to inform you that Moxa is going to make changes to the VPort 06-2 Series.
These changes will be implemented from January 2, 2024.
Please review the details below to determine how these changes will affect your products and/or operations.
What will change?
Some of the key components of VPort 06-2 Series IP camera have been discontinued . For these component changes, we need to redesign the hardware and software.
The following changes will be implemented in the new version of the product :
- Update Ethernet PHY to the new version, and change the flash and some capacitors
- G sensor component is removed because there is no function using it.
- Upgrade the CE/ FCC/ EN50155/ EN45545-2 to the latest version
- Upgrade to UL 62368-1
- Conformal coating models (-CT) will be phased out, but customized models will feature it if it is required.
In addition, a new V2.0 firmware will be released for the new product , which has the following features:
- Upgraded default account authentication method for network security purposes
- Removed the alarm notification via Email and DDNS function due to network security authentication issue
Please note that this V2.0 firmware can also be used in the older version of this product.
The new HW revision and FW v2.0 update will not affect already developed customer applications.
